Can't Humanity Be Our Religion?

India is counted as the most religious country. India is a birthplace to many religions. Hinduism,Islam,Sikhism,Christianity,Jainism,Buddhism, these are some religions that spread to different corners of the world from India. Well, India is a proud country in matter of religions! But,I have a problem with this religion thing. No, I am not an atheist. I do believe in God.  But I actually follow the saying "God is one". When a child is born in India, he/she isn't seen as a small innocent human life who just took his/her first breathe few minutes back but is seen as the newbie of his/her religion. What? Why?
I remember when I filled the very first form of my life,It was a CBSE form and it had columns of different religions but I was unable to find any column of humanity. That time I realised for the first time.  I am a Hindu and my friend is a Muslim. We are not one in our family's eyes. We are different. When I asked my mother if I can invite my friends on Diwali night, she immediately answered back not to call the Muslim girl as we had Puja and it was needed to be pure. I was embarrassed the next morning when I met her as I had invited all my friends but not her. I lost one of my friend just because of a guilt. I couldn't look into her eyes and couldn't ask for forgiveness.  My anger got its stake when I found my father too againsts Muslims. Why? Muslims too possess the same skeleton as Hindus have. They are humans too. Why can't I have a Muslim friend? Why can't I marry a Muslim?
Then, I realised the difference. Religion!
Allah and Bhagwan, our Gods, they are different.
Christians have Christmas.  They are not allowed to visit temple. Muslims can't go to Vaishno Devi. Hindus can't visit Mecca-Medina. What is all this? Are we following any religion or are we following any "Don't enter,it's my zone" thing?
As I started growing up and getting out of my fairytale world,I started being close to the reality, unwillingly. A girl was murdered by her own family because she was in love with a Muslim guy. She was a Brahmin like me . Another girl from my neighbourhood was disowned by her family because she was a Jain and she married a Christian.
The misfortune happening in Gaza,why?
Hundreds of people dying, why?
The British ruled India because of the formula of Divide and Rule.Simple reason for the success of the formula was division on religion basis. So,what should.we call it,DIVISION or RELIGION?
Religion don't teach us to divide ourselves. But people are dividing themselves on religion stuff. We say and believe in the new generation for removal of these myths and going-on trend of differentiating religions. But what if the newbies carry the same thought? I find my male friends talking shits about each other's religion, indulging into fights. How's the new school going to find a solution if they are not taking and believing in humanity as religion.
I do object now. Yes,I have a problem in calling myself a Hindu before calling myself a human. Because it's killing us and the quality of being a human. Your religion never teaches you to think evil of other religions. Your religion never teaches you to prove your God superior. Your religion never teaches you to divide yourselves. Your religion never teaches you to kill lives and murder souls of love. Your religion never teaches you to ban on people different from your religion.
But,your religion do teaches you to count everyone as one,as equal. Your religion do teaches you to keep the humanity alive. Your religion do teaches you to follow your karma.
Stop differentiating.God just made you human beings  without any biasing. It's you who destructed the peace and quality of being a human. You created religions. You forgot HUMANITY as your religion and KARMA as your God.
I wish for a world which is one. Actually one. I know my article would be just reviewed but I wish you apply it too. Don't think what a single application by you would change. Maybe nothing or maybe everything. May be what is being wished by me is your wish too. I wish for a United world free from biasing On the basis of religions, castes, colors and creed.
Can't I have humanity as my religion? Think.

Stereotypical World,Give Stereotypes a break!

We believe in bringing changes in big stuffs. We talk about dense heavy issues. We promote Secularism . We want Humanity to live and grow in every heart with strong roots. We protest against every Societal evil. How do  we forget stereotypes? How do we loose marks in that region? You must be thinking what she is talking about? She just wrote her previous article on a stereotypical issue only."FEMINISM!"
Yes,I am very well known to what I wrote and I don't deny it. But, I am not talking about big, dense, bulky and "known-realised" issues here! I am not talking about integrated , politically spiced -up and already media - promoted issues . I am talking about those issues which are differentiated in the form of persons but integrated in the form of common mindsets. I am talking about what you converse, feel, discuss and think daily.  Still not getting? Don't worry,if you already had any idea, then why the hell would I be writing to you.
Let me give you a very next-to-door or how about only your door's example? Be truthful, how many of you hold on to the fact that people who study medical science have a bad writing? I bet everyone of you.No offense, I used to believe this too because I have a bad handwriting and I had biology as my main subject till my 12th grade. My father used to say that I am going to be a doctor as I have a bad handwriting.I disagreed to the fact few days back when I went to a clinic and my friend got shocked because the medical slip given to her was well-written! And moreover the doctor proudly said " I AM A DOCTOR AND I HAVE A GOOD HANDWRITING." This is one of the small common stereotype I am talking about guys.  Yes, I know many of you say it's an exceptional case but it's not! The New generation shouldn't be compared with the old-school.Earlier,it was used to be followed because the myth was their. Can't you see an example of any of your friend studying medical yet having a good handwriting? There are, trust me! Second small stereotype if I give you is about artists being unemployed. Oh,please! Do change this one.  If artists contribute to be unemployed people, tell me who is Victoria Beckham,Zuhair Murad,Manish Malhotra,Chetan Bhagat,Paulo Coelho etc. These are art people belonging to different fields of art,Are they unemployed? To go on more smaller scale, the cartoonist whose drawing you reviewed today in your morning news paper, Is he/she unemployed? Third small stereotype, people who study science can't be designers! Dude,I am doing engineering and I am a fashionista. Moreover,I design too! My own cousin had completed engineering and now is doing internship in fashion designing.  She proudly says, " I COMPLETED MY ENGINEERING AND I AM A FASHION DESIGNER."  Another example if I show you is about actors and actresses. It is a belief that those who aren't brilliant in studying and are brainless, they act! Holy crap! How many of you are Emma Watson's or Shahrukh Khan's fan?Go Google it,   you would find about their brain IQ level and in related searches, find about others too!
I don't say everyone out there thinks the same but yes, I do say many more common small stereotypes like these you do believe too. A South Indian can't speak Hindi,Punjabis love YoYo Honey Singh,Biharis can't speak English(btw,I am a Bihari and I don't think I have a bad English.), British still hate Indians,Kashmiris are terrorists( My inspiration is a Kashmiri girl and trust me she is damn good as a human being. I am not scared of her even.) and many more like this. These stereotypes are although small yet common and needs a change. Whether small or big, stereotypes are stereotypes! I believe in breaking stereotypes :)

INDIA NEEDS FEMINISM!

You must be thinking about the title of my article.Yes,you can.Because I am going to talk about where I live instead of talking about the whole world this time. You must also be thinking why she is being a feminist, there's no more difference in both the sexes now!Yes,I agree with you and your view because we don't have any Sati Pratha going out in our neighbourhood!! C'mmon, it's 2014! Women have equal rights, they do have jobs, they are paid equally, they have reservations and moreover they are being given chances in every field. Yes,I agree with this too and I, being a woman, am grateful. Then, why am I being a feminist and talking about feminism?
Because the fights have changed and the cause is still alive. There is no more burning of woman alive due to her husband's death but there is killing of her soul still going on.There is no problem with a girl doing job but there is still fear in hearts with a girl working out at nights. There is no problem with the western dresses but there are still cheapness in minds regarding western clothes. So,tell me now if I am wrong in talking about feminism in 2014!
Recently,a girl of Delhi was raped by four cheapsters and the politicians blamed her clothes and being out of her house at night.Okay, then what about the four - year old little innocent girl who was kidnapped during daytime and raped badly consecutively after the above mentioned rape in Delhi? Was she wearing wrong clothes or was she out of her house at night? There we need feminism!
People commented on the activists who did a nude walk ,why? Just because they removed all the clothes and asked for unwanted intercourse? Yes,they maybe wrong in your eyes but not in mine because
If there's clothes on body too, then also it's not the rape to be blamed, but the clothes with little flesh -shows! Can't you get if it's unwanted, then it's a rape. Clothes are never responsible,a person's cheapness is.There we need feminism.
I was hanging out with my male friends when I saw few boys talking at a distance apart "Dude, she seems easy, let's stalk her!May be she is not a virgin." I wanted to answer back but my friends stopped me,why? Because they didn't want future problems. And I was ashamed to call them as my friends that moment. If a girl has male friends and she hangs around with them doesn't makes her a slut or an easy case. There we need feminism!
The stereotype hasn't died, it's still there. Not only males, but females also lack somewhere in thinking too! "Oh,her boyfriend broke up with her. Yes,she hangs around with males a lot!" How can you talk about anyone without knowing the real reason behind their misfortune? How can you point on anyone's character?I don't think you have that much right to talk about anyone's self-respect. There we need feminism!
Many people hate feminism. Many people hate maths too just because they don't get it.
"YOU DON'T HATE FEMINISM,YOU JUST DON'T REALLY GET IT!"
If you really hate feminism,go straight to your mother or sister, look into her eyes and then say you hate it. She is a female and a symbol of feminism. If you can't, you are a feminist.
I was checking posts on Facebook when I found few guys commenting shits on a girl's status who talked about a small example of needed feminism.  I didn't find anything wrong in that article. Yes,I menstruate too. What's the shame in it? If your mother wouldn't had menstruation, then how are you alive now? It's natural and God made us like that. No shame in it! We promote ban on plastic bags and when we go to buy sanitary napkins, the shopkeepers wrap it in black plastics, why? It's a medical aid and there's no secret in a female menstruating. Men don't get pregnant, women do and that's why they menstruate! There we need feminism!

I still believe India needs feminism. There is still a lot of lacking in the thought we carry and we need feminism. Yes,I am a feminist. I don't care how much of criticism I face because I know my thought is right. If you believe what I said, you are a feminist too, hate it or not,you are and be proud of that!

I Object.Do you?

I listen many people talking about dowry cases in social functions,I see a lot of sharings of misfortunes related with dowries on Facebook walls and pages,I even find laws implemented against dowry promoters! But If, just for a change,I ask how many of you really took interest in this evil practice that is still progressing in many places and it's growing on daily basis? To be frank, none or a few. Yes,I know this too that many of you are not even aware of the fact because you believe it's 21st century and who is so outdated to follow such an old ritual?
I, too wasn't so aware but I got frozen when I found that the rate of the dowry misfortunes has actually increased in last few years. Our industrialized Orissa has top the charts and this crime has grown unabated! The number of deaths due to the dowry system has increased from 338 in 2010 to 525 in 2014! I mean, how, why? We are growing, getting advanced,we talk about having global mindsets and where really are we?I am from India and my country has topped the chart of evil practices, especially dowry. Feeling proud,Indians? I am not!
I get in touch with people talking about changes but these questions messes my head up-" Are you, yourself, really changing? Are you taking the step first? Are you really developing good in your own house? It's a shame that you see marriages happening in your own family with exchange of dowry and sarcastically posting on FACEBOOK walls "PRAY FOR HER SHE DIED BECAUSE OF THE  DEVIL OF DOWRY."

Recently,I got amazed when I encountered a girl who denied to marry because she came to know that her father was asked to pay an amount of Rs. 20 lakhs and a Duster automobile as dowry to the boy who is a submarine engineer. The most shocking stuff is that the girl is a software engineer and is earning twice as of the boy! The girl was taunted for breaking the marriage and for her statement which was"I DON'T NEED TO PAY HIM TO MARRY ME!"
Her father and her family even got insulted in the society .Why? Just because their daughter did right. Wow,The great Indian society! And they say they are developing globally!Holy Shit!
Don't you think enough is enough? Don't you think you should stop this evil practice in your own circle first? How can you expect the surrounding to be clean when your own house is full of dust?I am a girl too and I raised my voice in my house and I am going to raise every time this dowry is going to interfere in my family. You raise too in your house,in your circle and see how we get rid of this evil!
I don't say don't promote for dowry stoppage on social media.Do it,no offense. But,raise your voices manually in your own circles first. Go louder everytime you see dowry exchanges happening in your known reign " I OBJECT!"

I Think. U Decide.

Before discussing what is "I Think. U Decide." all about, I, from the core of my heart want to thank all the readers who gave a part of their precious time in reviewing and appreciating my very first article "Priorities or Humanity?" Thank you readers and bloggers:) !!

"I Think. U Decide." is an inspiration from many stories happened and happening around the world. It's a summarization of many small incidents that could have happened to you too. I don't say it's happening to everyone but I believe there are few people surviving like me too on this beautiful but competitive planet.
When I was little, I was never asked to think.I was simply told the final verdict! When I cleared my 10th, I was asked by my father to think and choose the stream I want to study further. He also added one more statement that time-Beta,jo tum padhna chahti ho, wahi bolna, socho Aram se!(Translation- My daughter, think and say only what you feel like studying further) I didn't take much time and told him that I want to take arts and compete NIFT. BOOM!!Here Came the very first explosion of my life!! Ultimately , I ended up taking science because arts is not a field for a 90+ percentage holder in Bihar. Sarcastic. Why am I asked to think and tell what I want to do everytime when the final decision is never going to be mine? Why can't I decide what's good for me? I am not saying parents decide wrong stuffs for their children but what's the importance of the decision being right when the children feel the burden and suffocate?
Trust is the basis of life and support is the framework. It's not necessary that everytime what you decide for your child is going to do good for his/her future. Some children are good in music, some are good in science. While some love dancing, others hold a passion for designing. Why to make and create complications? Why to dream your failures as successes in their life?
The five fingers in your hand are not possessing the same length. Likewise, every person is different and holds some talent or the other. Stop forcing, start supporting and see the little caterpillar, with your support and little hardwork, growing into a butterfly with rainbow colors!
"Never make them feel hesitate on how they want their steaks to be done.Support their zest as zest is the secret of all beauty ,be it this world or the other!"
Be a guide, please, instead of being a planner.Let your children struggle in the way they want.Success doesn't matter, happiness and satisfaction do!!

Priorities or Humanity?

They  say "Prioritize stuffs in life to make things easier". Yeah, prioritize!! I am just 18 years old,how can you expect me to prioritize??
Nowadays,I find prioritizing in daily life so common. From choosing between jobs to switching organizations, from a simple choice of Course to selecting among friends, people prioritize!
Big-head thoughts! I am too small to play the game of priorities. Not because I can't,it's just because I don't get answers of my simple questions. I used to think people made rules and created priorities. What if these priorities become so heavy that one start ignoring emotions?
One of my friend's boyfriend broke up with her .The reason she was given was that she holds less priority than the organization he is in.I was dumbstrucked when she told me the whole story.I came to know from this incident that an organisation can hold more priority than love. One can get so selfish that he/she can forget the promises, the moments, the love, the Care, the warmth and the innocence of relationships.
These days, priorities are much more important than promises. I don't say it's bad to prioritize but what if these priorities are making one heartless?I don't think anything holds more priority than being a human and following humanity.
It hurts when you find people around you prioritizing money more than love. It hurts when you see people not stopping even to save a dying person's life because their officework holds more priority.
Try to prioritize between right and wrong if you really know how to prioritize!
Try not to prioritize emotions, relations and humanity after your own selfishness!
